My retro doesn't even compare to the retro's I do now. I had to have headlights done quick... rushed them... sloppy work on my own personal retro. They look good but from taking them apart 15 million times I wouldn't sell them to anyone.... plus I'm pullin the projectors from mine for my new one. You can have some housings if you want them lol! Now that I have 2 pairs of extra 9007 harnesses from the backs of the headlights I don't have to take my retro apart anymore.... just have to take the 2 bolts out. Soooooo much easier now. Thanks shawty, thanks blue!
 


I do know one thing GM headlights are so much better quality than the chinese headlights you get off ebay. I got 2 sets of gm headlights in the mail yesterday with brackets, bulbs, wiring harnesses and corners. I'm thinking about taking the lenses from my current retro and putting them on the gm capsules. I've got a good amount of parts stock piled at this point. Anyone else interested in a retro?

I don't wish I had an 04+ I like the looks of the 97-03's way more :th_laugh-lol3:

Having access to an 04 for aiming would be ideal tho.....

I can retro pretty much anything it's the way the 04 lights are setup that makes it a pita. The projector lense touching the capsule lense has to be delt with by using a hole saw but it's behind the headlights that I can't do because it has to be trimmed.

Seperate the lenses, cut a hole 2 3/4 inch with a hole saw, fit away. Shouldn't be to bad there's writeups here on the net that give you the mounting options for the 04+ gp's. It's just tedious work that will want to make you pull your hair out but you'll get it sooner or later. I know when I seperate lenses I go 265* for 13 minutes for ebay housings and 300* for 20-22 minutes to serperate factory gm capsules. If it's grey sealant you will need the 300* temps to get them unsealed. If it's black the housing will seperate much easier........
 


I'd say the easy part is buying some of Clean's quality workmanship. You give him dollars he gives you beauty. It's almost like a brothel for headlights
 


any body out here have a set of blacked out retros with yellow fogs? I'm working up on saving for a set of retros now. Probably gonna order sometime in September. I'm getting fed up with the worthless stock lights.

Black housings, black corners, flat black shrouds with 3000k 880 fogs..... gotchya I'll keep it in mind....
 
thats what i want to do for my fogs after i get them retros. 3000k hids in the fogzzzz
