• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

mine are all blacked out.

You're whole car is blacked out :th_laugh-lol2:

I'm starting another set, thinking about blacking out the housings and painting the shrouds a gunmetal color but I don't want to do something that someone won't purchase on down the road. I hope to get enough sets completed that I can just ship them right out but I can't do to many sets on my own money. If nobody else puts an order in for them then I'm out a ton of cash. I'd like to have 3 sets done at all times ready to ship but completed sets sitting here do me no good.

I think once people start seeing my work more they'll be more interested. I've added a ton of pictures to my album on my profile page. If I do enough business I'll construct a website but right now vendor fee's plus the cost to do them is enough out of my wallet.:th_laugh-lol3:

i like the gunmetal idea, it be cool if it color matched the front and rear facia that is the gray/gunmetal color

haha there's a little gray at the bottoms of the bumper... till i get em repainted, but i'm happy with the looks, go fast parts time now.

after i put mine in we where standing back and looking at them, and i said "i bet it would look evil as hell with dark red shrouds"

Take that big ugly wing off the back of that car and it would look way better imo. I can do shrouds in any color, that combo does look good but I think it only looks good on black and white cars.

really?? the sti doesnt look right without that spoiler to me.

I'd just go for the regular wrx wing, I think it would look much better for sure.

Throw some pics of your lights up, you have them done already dont you? Did you get them adjusted already?

i still have to aim them tonight but heres some pics on my dirty car.

these pics dont do them justice, the light really doesnt take up the capsole like that, you can see the projector. i also have to get some 6000K bulbs to match the corners. these ones are 5000K

is it hard to get the windshield adhesive apart? i have another set of lights if i have to cut these ones apart. i think i only need to do the drives side though. I jumped the gun on sealing them up :th_tongue2:

That's why you have to bolt them on the car without the lenses on the capsules. I probably bolt and unbolt my sets at least 10 times before I seal them up. IMO once you seal them up your pretty much done for. There's no opening back up with the oci butyl tape I use. Rotationally your 1 projector is ok but the other is pointing at the ground and rotationally it's way off. You could try some needle nose vice grips and see if you can tweak it enough so you don't have to open them.

Get it to this point and you can call them good, even these are still adjusted to high just haven't messed with them since it's pretty close to where I want them. Everyone will want their lights adjusted different but you have to get the rotation right or you will have lines on the road instead of projecting to a level where you don't see the cutoff pointing on the road.
