• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Cleaning S/C

should work fine, but a wire wheel would work better. they are cast aluminum, so they dont exactly look the nicest to begin with.

Yes its cast alum. The super is on the car and its outside in a freeking parking lot so im just gonna try the scotch and see what happens. Just trying to keep myself occupied.

well, not being a smart a$$, but the s/c case will tear up them there scotch brite pads.....u must be real bored..

you would be better of using a steel scourer ,steel wool ,tooth brushes ,paint brushes with carb cleaner and turps or kerosene this is what I used to clean my motor down with before I started to detail it ,the turps or kero wont hurt paint but be careful with the carb cleaner And Dont use degreeser it doenst work very well and doesnt like paint ,and just gently rinse with water or carefuly pressure wash the motor afterwards
