Actually, these pictures were taken just recently. Around one year AFTER I had claybared the car.
white gtp coupes ftw!
ive always liked your car.
ill post some claybar pics later. im off to work.
Ok, thanks! I better leave that to a different professional. If I let him know I'm mad, does thet make me an asshole?
i tried to claybar my car once this summer... maybe im a retard and dont know how to do it, but i thought it was really hard... like u have to spray a little area and then rub for like 10 secs then another little area etc. and it could take like 5 hrs to claybar the car, but i did it on a really hot day so im thinking it might have messed with the waxing spray and dried it out
I agree with everything you said except the dish soap, but whos to argue when you car looks like thatLooks good dude!
Ya, when you clay bar, its a good idea to wash the car well with regular dish soap, that way the soap and water will remove everything from your paint. Then, in the shade, on a not too hot of a day, clay bar, making sure you keep the clay to paint contact slick at all times. You will know when it goes dry, it will grab.
Yes it takes a while to clay bar your car, but well worth it for the end result. Your paint will look like ass when your done with the clay, but after another wash with soapy dish water again, its now time to dry the car, and wax or seal your paint. The end result after that will be well worth the effort. Trust me.
Personally, I am a Zaino freak now. I used to be a tight ass, and could not justify spending that much on a product that would do as good of a job as the next guys stuff, but I gave it a shot, and for the money, it looks like you don't get that much, but its really-really concentrated, and when used correctly, more than enough to do your car, and have some left over. Its really easy to use, and I have not tried all their products yet, but from what all I have boughten...I have not been disappointed yet.
My car about 2 or so years ago.

You can even clay bar your windows to get rid of any hard water stains.
After you do the clay, and Zaino it, it makes washing it easy, as everything like bugs, and dirt, and dust just wash off so easy now.
If anything...after a day of clay, and washing and polish, your arms will be sooooooo tired. But you will really be feeling it in the morning. After the pain goes away from all the hard work, you'll feel really buff.
