Re: Clark's GTP "WHINER"

looking good man!
can't wait to hear that thing when its breathing fire

and wheels really do make ALL the difference on GP's.
stockers make our cars so sad looking lol

btw how'd you do at the track?
what baseline did you end up setting?

Re: Clark's GTP "WHINER"

Who the hell goes to the track, posts about it then gives no numbers? Fugsdamattawidu?

Re: Clark's GTP "WHINER"

Alright boys alright alright. I live in a place where our altitude and track conditions suck. And I mean like make 5 tenths of a difference. The best time I put down was a 13.8 on slicks 3.2, xp cam, headers, full 3' supporting mods yhatta yhatta yhatta. Which is much slower than I should be running. With the ****to's I hit a 2.1 60'. Which also sucks. And a 104 mph. I didn't post track times because they are slightly embarrassing. I need to move to somewhere a car can actually perform.

and while I have everyone's attention I tossed on the north* TB and I have the bracket and everything working mint. The throttle cable doesn't sit in the north* perfectly but it's "snug" now the pedal feel is "sloppy" and I can only get 69% throttle at "WOT" anyone have any similar problems?

Re: Clark's GTP "WHINER"

Hey I painted my gen v the same color as yours.

Car looks great

First of thank-you sir I really like how it has turned out as well. Secondly ya that paint looks pretty good. But as you can see I don't have the ZZP custom fuel rails I had someone make me a set. And they wrap up over by the TB. Leaving the SC top nice and clean looking :) I am looking at getting the genV polished over the winter. Anyone know of a guy? That does a good Job? Preferably in Canada :)

Re: Clark's GTP "WHINER"

This is a really nicely done four door... Especially being red to boot! (Don't take that personal! ;))

Nice job!

I wanted to do the same but it would be a lot of up keep because I daily my car. I figured it would get crappy looking over time and opted to paint it.

I would tend to it's needs and keep it glistening. And this is my daily. Not the best on fuel but I love her. I might be buying a heavily modified Honda ruckus for bombing to and from school. Ill post pics of it later

Thanks and I strive to be different. The red really grows on you. And there are too many black silver and blue GPs to even mention. But that being said I love the colours. Just wanted to be unique I guess

Re: Clark's GTP "WHINER"

I didn't like my red car at first. It really does grow on you. I think it's pure sex now.

It always catches the eye. Which is a plus when you want the person going slower than you in the left lane to get over.

Went back and none of the pics really show it, do you have any better pics of this custom rail?
