Stupid ricers, kid was in a newer gen civic si, I see him in my rear view mirror flying prly doing at least 90mph, by the time I decide to punch it he's less than 3 car lengths away and I was only doing 50-55mph. So i punch it, he notices obviously cuz he's not gaining as quick, but anyways he gets no more than 2.5 car lengths ahead then I start gaining and blow right by him. We get to the light he looks at me and I rev it and then acts like he didn't hear it, why? cuz he got f***** poned thats why

yea neither do i to much similar with the basic civic, like no dual exhaust or anything to really seperate it other than the badging, but whatever. I'd never buy one regardless so idc lol

K20 is such an awesome motor though. HUGE amounts of potential, especially with the new K20Z1 they're using in the 06+ Si

X2 im seriously researching the honda forums, mainly honda-tech.com and k20a.org thinking of a 95 to 2000 sedan with a k20 swap 300 NA hp with a 8k redline or higher sounds like fun to me. Sounds like a crotch rocket on 4 wheels, light and a big redline, all stock exterior quiet exhaust, just tint lower and some sticky tires and light wheels. All function even tho I still hate on imports, Most parts can be USDM such as dart block and heads and edlebrock intake manifolds and so on.

edelbrock on a honda? i think i just died a little lol

theyve been making honda parts for a long time they made b series turbo kits seen them way back when i was in high school lol

I totally agree that the motor has huge potential, I personally just have never saw the draw toward buying a car that isn't made for and what I mean by that is the manufacturer intent when they made the car, but I never saw y you would buy a car that is meant for nothing more than a daily commute and making it a 11 sec speed demon, but hey i'll never "stone" someone for doing that lol I think I u can more power to u, I just look at it like hey I want a fast car I'm gona get a fast car to begin with then soup it up. And honestly im not a total import hater I love the Nissan z series and would love to have r35 without a doubt I just have always been pulled toward muscle car side and I think Pontiac takes that concept and makes it more surreal for people by giving them a daily driver with some kick to it and a sound that with some tweaking can definately bring out the deep roar within itself but hey that's just me

Well...I don't mean to be rude...or maybe I do idk...but why get a car that is made for a family and mod it and beat the crap out of it? Just wondering since you kinda contridicted yourself...

What do you mean? get what car?
:th_doh::th_clapping: here we go in lamens terms....

honda civic si- honda is famous for a commute vehicle with good gas mileage, but they are also a big name in the import racing/tuner world.

pontiac grand prix gtp- family sedan meant for a grocery getter and to be a daily driver. which is taken, modded and beat the shyt out of....

when you say honda drivers are stupid for taking a civic and "souping" it up you are doing the same thing with a grand prix. when in actuality when people think of racing most people would associate a civic with racing before a grand prix (which is why i love modding gtp's they are under estimated)

when's the last time you saw a gtp in a muscle car magazine? that should about sum it up....

got it home slice?:th_thumb-up:

"but I never saw y you would buy a car that is meant for nothing more than a daily commute and making it a 11 sec speed demon"- then why did you buy a grand prix should have got an f-body.....

and fyi a K20 with a good turbo setup will rape most gtp's (unless the gtp is blow dried :) )

if you dont get it now then i dont know what else to say :)

Now wait a second lol I know exactly what u r saying... The poit I was trying to get across Yea no matter what yur gona get people to buy Hondas or gtps that use it for daily driving, all I was trying to say basically is that pontiacs whole basis on making there cars is to give the consumer something that is a family car but is sporty it's been that way for years. And that's exactly why I love pontiacs too cuz they can b total sleepers. Anyways I guess o didn't come across this way in my last post, all I was trying to say it's nevertheless been my cup of tea, any guy who is somewhat into cars would love to soup up whatever car he owns. Sry that i wasn't very clear last time on what I was trying to say

well considering my account balance and the need for another 4 door honda civic parts are super cheap and anyone can rape parts off other hondas such as an all motor k20 like i was saying and the reliability of it i dare say would easy match or beat a GP. Im still forum trolling and once i find out where ill be working when i get done with training at ft. sill i maybe...........buying an import:th_nervous:
