chrome wheels

i've heard a lot of different opinions about chrome wheels. i thought i'd ask and get some other peoples opinions. I'm looking to buy another set of wheels for my gxp too. anyone know some nice ones that i could get without breaking the bank? i just have the factory chrome 18" on my GXP now.

there is nothing wrong with chrome wheels. this forum has terrible taste in all things wheel related, so large grains of salt are required.

i personally love the chrome myself. I'm just looking for a black wheel since my car is going to be getting darker and darker.

U could use plastidip and paint them black. If u decided u don't like it u could then just remove the plastdip. It comes off without damaging the chrome on wheels

a buddy did that with his mini coop. they looked real nice but i'm hesitant with the chrome wheels. i might have to work up the nerve to do it but i'd like and rather buy a new set. that way i can put some snow tires on one set and a summer set on the other.

If u put the plastidip on it chrome ones it won't damage them and just peels right off if u didn't like it

I love black wheels but sometimes chrome is just the color needed to make a car look good...I liked my wheels silver and I liked them black now I would love to find some chromes but haven't anything I really like
