I stopped in to ask a quick question; Can you buy just the y-pipe back? I'd still like to know if that's possible in the mandrel kit mentioned. I guess maybe I could email and ask..
Anyway, I found this and I think it's the stock pipe only from Walker. There's no resonator on it. Do the hangers look right? It doesn't cost very much.

Possibly. To buy portions of a cat-back system is very expensive. Better to go to an exhaust shop and have them bend/weld something up.
Yes that is the stock exhaust.

Walkers are supposed to sound stock. Just hog them inlets out and weld the pipe right to 'er. Lol :th_laugh-lol2:

I've heard the slp, cherry bombs, borla, custom mufflers, you name it. I loved the borla cat back. Had the best sound no rasp, even better when I went turbo. I have the zzp on my impala currently, superchargered not turbo, and it sounds ok, it's quiet at idle and gets louder when you accelerate but I have to get my exhaust connections welded up, in sick of leaks from the downpipe connections, 2 bolt flanges are dumb! If I did it again it go maderal bends to borla mufflers with a small res.
