Just paint match the grille, mask off the mesh part and leave bare plastic or paint black first.

i have no clue where to take it to get it painted. i cant find anywhere i can just buy a paint match grille!

That body style didn't sell any paint matched grills, black or chrome options, iirc. Just find you a nice set of grill inlays, like billet inserts or something that you like, then when you get a free weekend, buy some paint that matches the color of the truck, sand prep the parts you want red, tape off the parts you don't, prep, primer, paint, clear and re-install everything and bolt in the new grills. Done.

i might do that this summer. where do i get paint primer and clear at? ive never done any painting like that

dulicolor at pep boys or autozone, they have everything there, from sand paper, filler, tools to apply it, spray paint thats color matched, and spray on clear coat.

if you go to the duplicolor web site, they have lots of how to vids. painting is quite easy, light coats, and take your time.

the key to using this product is wet sanding. as you will learn from the vids.

they also have lots of user pics and projects posted as well. some good ideas are posted. as well as some really nice work done by people just like us. aka no experience at all.

Should you decide to try it yourself, buy one of these. The cheap ones are less than $5 and worth 100x that. The difference is remarkable, from removing all finger fatigue to smoothing out how you lay the paint, its the best tool for painting you can buy besides a pro- paint spray kit.

got my mud flaps today. goin to put them on tomorrow after work hopefully. somethin went wrong with the order so i have to get the front ones now
