Check engine light on

My check engine light came on and the code is a p2440. Do i have to worry about this code, or can I just use my hp turner to turn it off?

I can't find any reference to that code anywhere in the GM techline manual. You sure that's right, and you didn't make a typo?
 
I ran the codes again and now I have two, and a hud but the hud don't matter. The first one is a p0411, and the second is p2440, no typo. Its on a 2006 grand prix 3.8 series three. the hud code is u1000. But i am not worried about that one cause I don't have a hud. Now both the codes are for the the secondary air pump, one is just says (air) system (p0411) and the p2440 says switching valve stuck open. Is this something I need to worry about and if so what do I change cause I have no Idea what an secondary air injection system is. How much $$$$ is it to change what ever it is?
