check engine light on 06 base GP

Today when I started my car to drive home from work I noticed the check engine light was on steady. I got out and checked the gas cap which did nothing.

Car has just over 35K miles on it and has been used mainly for highway travel (100 miles a day) for the past 2 months.

Is there anything simple this could be or should I start getting heartburn? :D


Air filter is clean and I also put fresh gas in it.
 


Have the code read before you do anything else. Without knowing what the CEL is on for, we can't help you much.

Autozone will usually scan your codes for you free of charge.
 
Autozone gave me the code P0411 which seems to indicate a problem with the air pump.

Though this puts my mind at ease because I could care less about the air pump until I have to go back to inspection in a year, I assume the air pump should be covered under the extended emissions warranty?
