Charging System Failure

I started my car today... I ran it with no trouble going to work early this morning, around noon for lunch, and jsut drove it home from work about 3 hours ago and I had no troubles.

I started it just now and the chimes were really late going off, and then after I started moving my DIC displayed "Charging System Failure" and flashed a picture of a battery followed by Service Vehicle Soon.

I was already driving when it went off so I went around the block to quickly park back at my house, and I noticed my turn signals were skipping beats and going from regular to irregular.

Im worried about my alternator now, any other possibilities?
 


Alright, so...

I cleaned the posts with a wire brush real good and reseated the connections, seems like everything is running pretty smoothly for now.

I apologize for the needless post, as I now realize I already knew what steps I should take before jumping to parts issues... I was just under stress from other stuff and not thinking clearly.

So this post can be deleted if the admins wanna do so, I also realize I should've searched first if I didnt know what to do, and that there are other posts that cover this topic.

Again, sorry.
