Changing valve stem seals - what else can i do?

I will be changing my valve stem seals shortly. Just wondering if there's anything else I should get to while I'm in there?

Alrighty, 105's and modded retainers. Thanks guys! If I wanted to install those 1.9 rockers with the 1.6 seats (modded retainers), could I do this now as well?

OK, so from what I have gathered, for the valve stem seals:

I'll need to open the valve covers, insert a spark plug attachment to an air compressor and keep a pressure maintained so the piston doesn't fall into the cylinder and use some sort of spring compressor J tool (the specific one escapes me at the moment.)

Is there anything else I will need at all?

A magnetic pick up tool is handy for grabbing the locks when you compress the spring. I would not recommend the viton valve seals Intense sells if you have not bought them yet. They were very difficult to try and install. I ended up tossing them out and getting some Fel-Pro seals. I found out after I went through this that I'm not the only person who has had this problem with those seals.

Viton seals will seal better. yeah they are a ***** to get on but they seal great. When I put them on I take off the metal band, put the rubber on then work the band back down.
