Changing the supercharger oil, how often and how?

its $5 for a bottle of GM oil at the dealership here IIRC. Even if it was $10 a bottle it'd still be cheaper to buy it locally.

well i just went down to my dealership nearby called GM pontiac hummer and chevrolet. i think thats the correct name. and the guy told me 10.89 for one 4 ounce bottle of supercharger oil. and he only had one bottle left. like wtf???

Little hint to get the old oil out... use the sprayer from a spray bottle. Stick it in the bolt hole and squirt the old oil into an empty bottle. Works like a charm.

to drain it u need like a sprayer from a bottle to pump it out while u have it changed id replace the coupler wuth a green one from zzp

search it on youtube, there is a good 'how to' on changing the supercharger coupler, it shows how to get the oil out and everything.

Like the owner's manual says, I've only ever topped off the oil (I do it yearly) but changing it out with fresh fluid makes more sense to me. So how often do y'all change it out? 30K mi?

check it yearly, if it smells quite horrible then its probably time for a change....

Considering the average differential fluid changing intervals.
