changing out struts

I have removed the top 3 bolts and the bottom 2. I cant get the bolts out for the life of me. There seems to be too much pressure. Do i need to remove something else?

Ive already tried the hammer trick.

The bottom 2 you can't get out? Big ****ing hammer is the only way

BFH ftw. Go buy one at lowes if you need one a regular hammer won't work.

I use a 3# sledge

Put the 3 bolts on top back in and try again on the bottom 2. Use a hammer if you mushroom the the knuckle bolsts just use a dremel or something to get them back in shape. Also make ire the whole assembly is hanging freely not jacked up.
