Changed my Supercharger oil (with pics)



One word of advice...if you'r're using the spray bottle pump and you put it in some sort of cup and then decide to take it inside to wash it off or whatever. DON'T take the old fluid in the house, not even if its inside a welded steel box, it will create quite the stench in the house.
 
I sense a bunch of wussies posted in this thread.

That's right. SC oil isn't as bad as you make it sound, or you don't change it on enough cars. lol :th_king-evil:

Buy 1 Intesne and have the correct amount
Buy 2 GM and have the correct amount.

I've bought two bottles of GM oil and it over filled by an ounce or so. The snout was off the car and cleaned so it's not like I left any in there.
 


If you overfilled, do you mean you spilled an oz down the outside of it? Because to the bottom of the threads is very close to the full 8oz.
 
what is bad is having a blower in your trunk and it tip on the ride home... was like 3 weeks for me to get it out and get rid of the lingering smell. i'd rather that smell then have my arm soaked in gas from changing a fuel filter though!

But, im glad im not in California cause it seems every product you use on these cars will cause cancer in that state!
 


it was bolted to the lower and sitting on my spare tire... i have a full size spare in the wheel well and it sticks up a few inches. it rocked over off of it.
