Champion vs Autolite. Does it matter on stock engine?

I finally got my GTP last night and am going to change the wires and plugs. I was driving past Autozone, so I went in and got Champion rs14yc6 plugs. Then I started reading here and saw that the Autolite 605 is well liked, but not many references to the champions. It's a stock 2000 gtp. I know some engines love one brand of plug and hate another. Should I bother returning the champions, or is it a non-issue?
Thanks, Gas.

Shouldn't really matter. Are they at least copper? Boosted cars don't like platinums.

I run NGKs in everything...I'm convinced they are better. With a pulley I run TR6s.

stock cars love stock plugs as in ac delco iridiums

but yet they still love copper core ngk's or autolite brand.

going with the 606's or 605's will be perfectly fine.

The only catch is that because of the copper core they wear out 5x faster than normal plugs, they will need to be change in roughly 12-14k miles. But at 12 bucks or so for all 6 plugs its so cheap it dont even matter.

So these cars don't like the Champions so much, I take it. No one here or in other threads that I've found has recommended them. No recommendations against them, but none for them, either. Lots of people saying the Autolites are good. i guess I have my answer. I'll take them back. Thanks, everybody, for the advice. Gas.

Come to think of it, so do I. They were for my Durango, until some guy caused an accident and totaled it. Which is where the Grand Prix story starts......

I've run everything in my GTP and the only ones that sucked were
Champion CU core.

I have NGK iridiums and they're fine.

That being said, I've also run PT plugs without issue.

I finally got to install my AL605 plugs and my new wireset. It runs just fine, now. Now more shuddering at more than 1/4 throttle. No more good gas mileage for a while either, I'm guessing. :D

Ever since I've put ngk iridiums in I've got a rough idle and very slight hesitation @ acceleration. Gonna switch them out to autolites, been trying to decide which ones tho.

AL103R's gapped at .050" is all I ever put in the blue car.

AL606's in the silver one now, gapped at...well, whatever the **** they were in the box?

Just saw my typo. It should say "NO" more shuddering. Not "NOW" more shuddering. Just a slight change in meaning..........

Champions in Mopars only ? Yes that is the myth. But does anyone know that AC in AC delco stands for Albert Champion.lol I also prefer g-power ngk's just seem to run a little better IMO..
