My center console is getting really loose and squeekie when ever i open, close, or just touch it. its doing this cause the plastic is starting to get soft where the screws go into the bottom of the console not it the door its self. I was wondering if there is anything that someone has done to fix this. its really starting to annoy me.
 


Mine had a simliar problem, I looked into it I had to tighten the bolts on the bottom of the console underneath the cdholder inside the console. You might try putting large washers in their underneath to help hold it down a little better.
 
Ive been thinking this over, mabye to just get a rectangle of metal, drill holes in it and then use it as a big washer.
 
ya like on the back side of the plastic? that would make a lot of sense to me but the only problem is i dont know how to get the damn thing apart. help?
 


Pull out the little cd holder then Fold out the cup holder pry up on the piece that holds that and it will pop off. Then you can get into the front of it as well as the top.
 
my center console is also pretty noisy but what is making the sweaking noise is coming from the top part that you lift up. idk if urs is coming from another place but i don't see how taking the whole console out would help??
