just curious if anyones interested? looks like friday may be a wash out and wednesday looks very much dry weather and in the 50s, nice cold weather . want to see what my car runs in street trim with its current boost setting(even though it'll be lower cause of the altitude perhaps:confused:).

I Live 40 minutes from Cecil but i have a bad wheel bearing,i would take the trip but idk,i really wanna c that thing run!

well i live 40-45min away from cecil as well; coming from lancaster, pa ;-) im gonna run on low boost(safe 10-11psi) and see what times i get then try to run with my MBC on and run 14-15psi and see what it runs on street trim(a bit more extreme). uNda6gT if you come just come up to my car and introduce yourself. im driving the 4-door purple grand prix ^_^

Ok no problem,...do you know anybody or are you knowledged enough to help do a supercharged top swap?

i never did a top swap b4, just a straight motor swap and thats about it. i imagine the only parts that are needed for the top swap are the heads from the L67, LIM, and the blower as well as possibly the fuel rail along with the injectors. PCM-wise im not too certain though. u might want to make another local thread on here for some advice/help.

uNda6gT, nice to had met you in person. sorry to not had been able to talk with u more but maybe when theres a local car meet we can meet up again.

ran a cecil county dragway with a bit of lower boost but still unknown number . ran twice. first one i actually got a decent sixty footer of 2.12 but once the turbo hit full boost at around 14-15psi i lost traction at the 1/8 mile and resulted in a 13.5@111mph.
2nd run i ran a bit more aggressive, and spun a bit but rsulted in a worse sixty of 2.27 but got a 12.7@115mph.

met a few members on the forum(s), stan and uNda6gT. pretty kewl guys to talk to. also i talked to a kid/guy in an 05 monte carlo s/c edition. i asked him to pop the hood and let me check his setup. i noticed his s/c pulley was a press-on and he told me its a 3.4". i looked around and noticed he as a 3" FWI and that was it. stock manifolds and he said his pcm is stock. i asked him if he ran this setup b4 and he said he did. stock he said he ran a 14.7 and after the 3.4" pulley he said he ran a 14.9 and slower. i didnt want to tell him what to do or what he shouldnt have done(as most of you reading this will eventually start posting the 3.4 pulley bullcrap anyways ), that at least he could do is get a tuned pcm and not drive it hard for a while since its his DD.

talked to a few owners of some nice buick grand nationals. they were running 10" tirs in the back and one guy had a larger precision turbo with a slightly larger A2A i/c. they were running high 11s but trapped at like 110-113mph.
