it will work in the trunk, but range will be cut some for sure.

cb's are a easy install, power and run the antenna to the trunk. that thing might even fit in the console, or the glove box so you dont have to look at it all the time, or fvck up your dash or trim to mount it.

and we all know how easy it is to get a wire to the trunk. to easy really.

True true I've already ran subs in my trunk, this could be a really sweet set up with the CB in the glove box and use the Line out on the back to the imput on the back of my head unit

my next question is how tall is that antenna? Would I have to cut it off a bit to fit it in the trunk?

ouch, dont modify it. they sell short ones. rubber whips and such.

if you get a tall one, they bend very easily, so you could just arch it around the trunk.

I see, this might be something I attempt could be fun but the GP is only a winter car :/ don't know if I want to do that to it
