cavi conversion?

Just kinda curios what it would take to put an L67 into a z24 cavalier. Ie. Comp fab, mount fab ect? I have an itch to try and can't find any info on the subject! Can anyome help me out or point me in the right direction?! Thanks for the help in advance!

What year Cavalier? Some good sites are v6z24.com for cavi's up to 1994 and there are some links to other good sites on there as well. For cavi's 1995+ there is j-body.org. There was a guy around here with an 88-90 with a manual l67 in it. If you go on v6z24.com search for blown z or something like that.

Its been done before, i've seen an L67 in every gen J-body. Its not an easy swap though. Its a very tight fit, custom mounting, etc. Not for the faint of heart. For what its worth, it probably smarter and easier to swap an L67 into a Fiero...

J-body will make a good sleeper, and the 3800 sounds tons better than any 4-banger that would be in there. I've seen it done a few times and it hauls ass. Like Iron said, not an easy swap, though.
