Catback

Will the slp catback for a 05 grand prix v6 bolt on and fit my 05 gp gxp without modifications?

its the same car and exhaust. you may have a hanger not line up right, but that would be the only issue.

It looks like the only difference between the v6 catback and the v8 is the v6 has no resonator.

v6 does use a res, it "needs" it way more then the v8's do.

Being as changing the catback on these cars does absolutely nothing anyway, I would just change the mufflers out to something different.

You can usually build your own for cheaper at a local exhaust shop. Then you can choose pipe diameter/material/mufflers.

I'd agree that I wouldn't buy another "catback" for my GP, but I don't have a V8.
