Catalytic Converter - Any recommendations for 2005 Grand Prix Base 3.8L OHV non super

I am looking to purchase a new Catalytic Converter for my 2005 Grand Prix Base 3.8L OHV. I see a variety and I have a few in mind but just a few questions as well. First off, do any of your have any recommended Cats that you have personally used? Second, Does price or brand matter? If price and brand do not matter I should be good to purchase a direct fit no name brand and expect the same results as a magnaflow direct fit for example? Or am I better off trusting a name brand to use more quality components and materials?
