• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Cat is now bad replacing down pipe....

It's not really a "bad" converter the catalyst is just rattling around. A stock replacement is rediculous compared to the ZZ Performance down pipe.

I found this down pipe on zz. I have a 2007 Pontiac grandprix base. Do you think it will fit?

Product Reviews for ZZP Downpipes

Southern Ohio doesn't have inspections anymore, E-check was one of the most unpopular things around. Save yourself the $40 and get the catless, so long as you don't mind the crispy smell coming out your tailpipe. It bolts in pretty easily as long as you aren't fighting with rusty bolts, IIRC you need a 13 or 14mm socket up front and a 15 in the back, two bolts come off on both ends, stock downpipe comes right off, put some gasket sealant on both ends, bolt the new one in, good to go.

The front bolts are in an awkward position though, it's a PITA to get out if you're dealing with stuck bolts/don't have a good extension (like I was - a fifteen minute job turned into three hours).

---

As far as tuning out the P0140 code that the car -will- throw if you have a catless, just come to the meet - I'm getting mine tuned out on that occasion, too. IIRC dsmuts was charging $20-40 per tune, correct me if I'm wrong?
