Hello,

I performed a top swap on my 06 GP about 2 years ago. Since I've done the top swap I have only been able to pass emissions once. I keep getting a random misfire DTC P0300 and it will some times set the CEL. It comes and goes; I even reached out to Turbo Tim at ZZP and he advised that I would need a case relearn. I am trying to avoid having drive from Mokena IL to Grand rapids Michigan to have it performed.

Is there any one in the Chicago land area who has a VCM suite that can connect and perform the relearn for me? Name your price as long as it is reasonable. I have contacted the local chevy dealer Phillips in Frankfort IL and they quoted me 300 bucks. I contacted Cadillac in Matteson IL and they quoted me 124 bucks. I tried to explain to them what I needed and everything I said went right over there head.

Damn, a case learn takes literally 20 seconds to perform and they want to charge that much LOL.

Anyone with hp tuners or an aeroforce can perform this. Maybe someone is near you.
 
Looks like Grand Rapids is closer than me just south of Greenbay, Wi. There has to be some more Chicagoland members out there that can help. Im sure they will chime in soon.
 


DHP can do it too. I just did one and it took about a min.

Don't pay that much. They would rip you off. Have someone local like stated

a snap on solus pro scanner will also do a case learn. chances are one of your local garages will have one. as ffdp pointed out it takes less than 30 seconds. the garage never even charged me to do mine. i gave the guy 10 bucks anyway.
