CASE Learn Scanner's

I know this has been brought up a billion times, but I could't find a good list of scanner's that will perform the CASE relearn. I know the GM Tech II can do it and HPtuner and such. Will the Scangauge II be able to perform this? Or should I just take it to the dealership and spend $100 to get it done? Also will mom and pop shops have the ability to do this if it's a good place? Thanks

I wouldn't think a code scanner would be able to do it.
Yes your local shop should be able to do a case learn.
Or you could get on fleabay and buy a snapon brick on thecheap.

The scanner I'm talking about is a Snapon MT2500. They are CHEAP since all of the new scanners hit the market.

Nope I can scan 1987- 2001 with mine, and could go newer if I bought the chips for it. But I bought the verus instead. I keep the brick in my trunk just in case I need it while away from home.

I wouldn't give $10 bucks for that in the condition its in unless I needed parts for mine.

You will pay a couple hundred or more for a good one. But it will scan any vehicle from 87-08 if you have the correct modules and personalization keys.

If you decide to buy one be sure it will scan GM through the year model you own and that it has the K9 personalization key.
