Cars like the gtp

Late 80's Shelby Charger's, Daytona's, and so on were 4cyl turbo. Decently quick for what they were....I had an 88 Shelby Charger Turbo many moons ago.

Actually your best bet is a Supra (You didn't say money was a factor, Just late 90's and boosted lol)

If money is a factor I'd say your best bet if the car you want has to be boosted would be a Eagle Talon/ Mitsu Eclipse with the 4g63 Motor. Find one with a 6 bolt motor swap tho unless you enjoy crank walk. They can be made decently fast for cheap. Just don't be a douche and act like its the fastest thing in the world.

Crank walk is an overblown issue. It mainly only affected 95's. The 7 bolt actually started going into 93's but crank walk didn't become an issue until later on.

They can definitely be made fast cheap, but don't expect daily driver reliability out of a modded one.

Crankwalk definitely is an overblown issue. I personally would rather have a 6 bolt just so I wouldn't have to worry about it. It is definitely more common in the 7 Bolt 4g63 than most other motors.

IMO You could have a modded daily driver that runs in the 12's. After that you get below that you can't really have a daily driver.... at least not a dependable one.

Your Probably more of a VR-4 Twin Turbo Stealth/3000GT Fan Huh?

Those are pretty fast.

When I had my TSI I think the reliabilty issues came more from a previous owner who really didn't know what he was doing, and I was just learning about tuning the SAFC and everything else. It was a fast ass car and I want another as soon as I get other more important things in my life straightened out.

Or...do you mean GM cars?

There's Bonneville SSEi, Park Avenue Ultra, Riviera (look for SC, there isn't a model name difference NA to SC), Olds uh.. crap what's this damn car called..oh yeah LSS.

All were charged...and all were charged before the W body ever got a 3.8 option.
