hi so last night i was driving which i havent turned the car on in a few days. the car was literally flickering from interior to exterior lights. unhooked the battery while it was running to see if that was the issue but it wasnt.. alternator sounded like its working overtime though. and my spark plug wires look like ****.

no but my buddy said no way its fuses. u can hear the alternator like humming in and out. fuses would make my entire car flicker

alright . im new to this car so finding grounds im unexperienced with. i was told to find the ground strap? do u know where that is

check the ground on the battery first and look for corrosion on the cables, not 100% sure but follow the battery ground the best you can. i think theres a body ground in the trunk area but im sure

ok yea i will try that
the flickering seemed to stop last night but then again it started today
its so weird its like a non stop pulsing flicker

what other things did you have on, heater blower? wipers? sound system? rolling down windows?
Anything that might cause an extra load on the charging system.

i had the heat on ya because i live in canada. wipers no sound system just radio, no windows down. it started immedialtey after i turned the car on. thought it was because the car was cold but it was still doing it once my thermo hit half way.

its like the interior lights and exterior were fading iin and out. like bright then dim bright then dim. over and over. the car started to drive that way too once i hit 60 km in 4th gear. if that helps

sounds like a bad ground, cant see the alt making the lights flash, it may still be going bad. but flickering electronics should be a bad ground.

on the trans bell housing is 3 grounds, make sure all 3 are clean and tight and not broken off. as well as the battery.

More than likely your alternator is going bad.. Specifically the internal voltage regulator. Unfortantely the whole alt has to be changed.
