I'm going but I'm bringing my '75 Formula and representing 'The Wheels That Heal Car Club'. I will come check your GP's out though, I love mine.:th_thumbsup-wink:
 
Hey All,

We are 3 weeks away from the event! Please get your car registered early and let us know when you have pre-registered. I know there are a few other MACGP members who are planning to attend who have not done early registration.

Quite a few of us will be heading up Friday Night for the Hotel. I believe we should be getting in to town around 9-9:30sih on Friday Night.
 


Well I had said I was gonna be there, but my 16yr old son passed away May 3 and I'm not sure if I'm up to going or not. I've just kinda put my life on hold right now. I'll decide as the date gets closer.

If you feel up to making the trip, we'd all love to have you there. But if not, we will understand fully.
 


Thank you. As the date gets a little closer, I will decide. I should probably decide sooner rather than later so I can book a hotel room someplace.

Are we gonna have an area for the members to meet and greet set up? I would love to meet people from the site.

Once on the show field, we'll all be in the same place as they have all the cars broken down into specifc classes, and each class has a specific area. Our class will be 1978 and up Grand Prix which will be set up near the Pontiac pavillion. Once you sign in at registration, the staff will be more than happy to point you in the right direction.

As far as meeting up outside of the show, most of us are staying at the Best Western in Mechanicsburg (just a few miles outside of Carlisle), but I think it is completely booked a this point.

If you do a search for hotels near Carlisle, PA you might be able to find someplace with vacancies.
 
anyone know if the hotel that everyone is stayin at is charging by person or what? cause i booked a room but someone backed out...
 
I'll second that. this was probably the best GP turnout at Carlisle since I started going and the group we had there was just awesome. It was great meeting new faces and catching up with old ones. Hopefully all of you make it out next time!
