Re: Carcrobatic's White '00 GT - Coils Installed!

Hi again.... It's been a while.

I'm done with my Grand Prix you guys, I'll be selling it pretty soon. I've saved up 2.2k so far with my job at America's Tire and I plan to keep saving until summer of 2014 to spend it all on my drift car project. Until then, I'll enjoy cruising and showing my clean and reliable Pontiac.

It's been a LONG time since I've jacked the car up and worked on it. I miss working on it a ton, so I picked up my old RC drift car and got it running again. I guess I'll work on the RC until it's big boy drift time.

Here's the last pics I got with the Pontiac.

Yes I know about the burnt out lights, I've been lazy to replace them.

Re: Carcrobatic's White '00 GT - Saving up for a proper drift car

It's been a lot of fun building this car, and I want to thank everyone a part of Grandprixforums.net. I really love this forum and most of the users, I think when I get my new project later this year my build thread will be made here. Who's up for a drift car build on this forum?! Hahaha.

Gosh, this car is so simple and clean. I love it.

Great looking car. Nicely done. Sad to see it go someday soon.

Video and a couple random pics.
I loved how even though as low I dropped the car, I still managed to clear 9/10 parking lot curbs.

My RC build

It's an old Ready-to-Run Brushed motor 4wd drifter. It was the most basic model they had at 100$ roughly. A while ago it just stopped working correctly and it started collecting dust. I just bought a new Transmitter and Receiver, wheels/tires, and an FD3S body that I'm painting red.

Of course. At first I'm going to try selling in it's modded state to friends. If that doesn't work out I'll have a lot of mods for sale when I convert it back to stock.

Re: Carcrobatic's White '00 GT - Saving up for a proper drift car

Trying to sell my old torque stars on criags...

Someone just offered to trade a supercharger and lim with a few other small parts.....

This is the end of my story with this Grand Prix. I just bought my next project car and had to sell the GT. I had it up on Craigs for a week asking 3.6k and had lots of offers. Just at the end of the week a good friend of mine who I promised I would sell it to in the Summer called me up and ended up picking it up for 3k. I wanted it to go to a friend more than anything so I hooked him up with a nice price that would make the both of us happy.

This is the last nice picture I took of it.

Now it's time to build my drift car... Here goes nothing!
