I pulled up to the left turn lane and the lady infront of me had a semi turning into the street so she paniced and threw it into reverse. So i threw my car into reverse but i looked back to see if someone was there and crunch.

I will get some pics latter. Just fubared my front bumper and barly caught my hood. My new projector headlights look ok on the outside but i have not verfyed they are bent or something under the surface. My thrasher intercooler heat exchanger i will have to get the front bumper off to see.

Of course the semi took off and the lady that hit me had no drivers license. Gave me insurance in someone elses name.... let see if its any good.

I fail to see how this is the fault of the truck. Not to mention that it sounds like you let a woman with no license leave the scene?
 
Glad you're okay Rocket! Im really sorry about your car man, hope you can get it fixed with minimal stress. Is this car accident crap becoming contagious or what?! Keep us updated on her status? May be a good excuse to get an SD front air dam while you're at it....? I know you're perfectly capable of defending yourself Rocket but this guy kinda hit a nerve with me...

Josh, at no point in this thread does anyone explicitly state "it was the truck's fault." Rocket just had his GP needlessly wrecked by a dumb@$$ woman with no drivers liscense who obviously couldnt drive worth a sh*t to begin with. Kind of obvious why she didnt have one or doesnt deserve one, anyway.... Criticizing him isnt going to help anything, so keep the flaming to yourself slick. I just had my GP totalled and i know how it feels and the last thing i would want would be someone to make a dipsh*t comment like that and try to throw any guilt my way. Maybe he didnt LET her leave, maybe the b*tch drove off, maybe she gave him her name, like it says she did in the post he made, and other possibly false info, unbeknown to him of course, and they BOTH left. You dont know the story so dont fault him like it's his fault he got backed into; wtf was he supposed to do? Place her under citizen's arrest until the cops got there?show a little consideration,the guy just had his car trashed...

Pull the sand out of your panties, they were questions. No where did I resort to name calling (such as yourself) or throw fault/blame. I asked to get more information, not to draw random conclusions like you suggest.
 
I forgot to grab my camera from up at the shop to take pics.

I got a call from the owners insurance "lady driving with no liscense was borowwing the rodeo" So it looks like he really has insurance. Most people probley don't know but oklahoma ranks number 1 for drivings with no insurance.

Was not the semi fault. He just spooked her. She would have gotten hit by him if she would not haved moved. She was about 1 sec from me moving though. I had it in reverse just was looking to see if someone was behind me.

No, i did not get a cop to write up a report. Would not change the fact if they or if they had insurance. Cop comes she would have went to jail. And her going to jail would not fix my car if there was no insurance. But it looks like there insurance so alls good unless something else happens.

I cannot imagine the relief it was to find out she was insured! Any idea how a person with no license gets insurance? Hopefully now you can make the car better than it was thanks to the situation.

She didn't have insurance. The owner of the car did, and he said she was using someone else's.
 
Glad your alright! Although I would of gotten the cops involved anyway. Most cases like yours end up being unresolved because of fake info or what not. You can't trust anyone period.

I always keep a note pad and a disposable camara in all my cars. I get the tags, vin, copy of insur, and whatever else I can get. Luckily (knocks on wood) I've only had to do this once with my other car and he tried to run and I almost got arrested because I was taking the law into my own hands so to speak. (long story)

Off topic but I have no sypathy for no insurance driving assholes either, I pay mine, you better pay yours. If you hit my car and have no insurance, you better hope the cops come quick otherwise i'm gonna whoop your ass. I've had a few friends screwed from people like this, I won't be forgiving if it happens to me. I will take care of the situation myself if need be. Call me a hardass, but I think alot of people out there need to be locked up for driving with no insurance period.

I also have no respect for those without insurance. I have one heck of an insurance bill, and it gets paid no matter what! It is taken out of my account every month. If our insurance gets canceled, then so do our drivers licenses, then my husband (truckdriver) cant work.
Yall aint new to my theory: No insurance=Burn thier house down
 
Just an update. Insurance company still has not appraised the damage yet :(
I am getting pretty pissed about this.
