• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

car won't start

I'm kinda hoping it was new cuz then it would be covered by warranty but if not I'm paying for it which isn't a big deal. I'm just glad I know what's wrong now

Never removed one before but saw a vid on youtube bout it so I should be able to get it all figured out as far as removing old one and installing new one

Where did the motor come from? Looks like a old one from what I could see in the video since typical a new one is solid black and wouldn't show age that quick.

Never hurts to contact the company you got it from but I imagine it'll be more effort then it's worth and have to send the old one in first etc etc.

Word of advice unless you have a good impact... A pair of vice grips on the flex plate, a breaker bar and big ass extension are going to be your best friends when it comes to getting that crank bolt loose.

finally had time to work on the car and noticed the seal is leaking oil what is the easiest way to change this seal

well got it started with a tiny screw driver. Hopefully I can get it out and then put everything back together and be good to go :)

Got it started, the seal that is. Hopefully when everything is put back together the car will start. I'm ready to drive it again after having to drive my wifes Sebring for a week. Not a chrysler fan lol

Yeah I am. Still fighting this seal but done for the night. Watching the bulls lol. I've got a new seal, sensor, and balancer all going on tomorrow :)
