In advance thanks for the help...

My issue is this, after my car sits for about a couple hours or more it has difficulty starting. The starter itself is fine. Ill turn the key to try to start the engine but the motor just keeps turning over and over. I let off the start and wait a few seconds and try again and it starts the 2nd try. I have even tried letting the car sit in accessory thinking maybe the fuel pump needs to build some initial pressure but that doesnt help either. Once the car is started it runs like a champ with no fuel issues.

I want to get a remote start put into my car but this issue needs to be fixed first.

Could it be a fuel filter problem or a fuel pump issue? Whats all your inputs?

cycle the key a few times, turn car on turn car off, then start, if it starts the first time it could be the fuel pump getting a bit weak, i have seen cars and truck that last for years like this, but i have also seen pumps die immediately. if this test is successful it may also be the filter but thats cheap and easy to fix

Yea, after I get it to start and run I can turn the car off and on as much as i want. I was getting it was maybe the fuel pump but I just wanted to make sure before I go into that whole ordeal

I've heard similar things on guys with leaking injectors. They leak all night for example and in the morning you'll have problems turning the engine on due to excesive fuel that has been leaking.
