Is it ok to get one from a junk yard that maybe from an SE or gtp and 97-03 and use it for my gt or i have to spend 150 for an after market one at autozone?
 
on top of the MAF is a part #. look for that # only. they are the same in n/a engines as well. 97, 98 are the same, 99 is a different #.

im running a JY maf for 2 years now.

I didnt wanna go there for nothing.

It doesnt match though. I found out.
 
give the part # to the guy on the phone at the jy. most of the time they have a clue, or will check for you.

by me its all inventoried, you call and they know if they have it or not.
 
Ohhh weird.
I just went to check on the car
I plugged in the maf sensor and the car turned on.

I still have check engine light on.

The air intake making a lot of noise
And the rpm goes up to 2k and goes back to 800 when i start the car.
