Car will run then die

I have come here to see if some of you guys can help me out with my problem. I will begin saying that I had my gp in storage for a while and just brought it back home a couple weeks ago. Before I left, I did change my oil, my tranny fluid and put in a new battery. When I got into the car to fire it up, I did notice the security light was flashing and stayed on. I got online to see what the problem could be and I found that the battery could of caused the problem. So I took it down the road a couple miles to see if there was going to be any problems before I left, but it seemed to run fine so I headed back to my dads.So I decided to make my journey towards my place.

I got about an hour into my journey and it started to miss every once in a while, which I thought coulda been the gas (which prolly was bad). So I stopped to get a little gas, and the car didnt really wanna start but finally did. The problem started to get a little worse as I got closer to home but the car never did die. So I get home, bring my things into my house and go out to the car to start it and nothin! So I let the car sit over night and try to start it up after work, and fired right up. But 5 minutes later, it sputtered out and died. GRRRR!!

So I tried putting about 3 fuel filters cause I thought that each time it quit, that bad gas got into the filter and clogged it. Every other time I put it on it fired up, and the last time I tried it didnt work. I was finally able to get the gas siphoned out and put some new 93 gas in. That didnt work either. So next I tried a fuel regulator. I read that the regulator could cause some of the problems that I was having. So I put that on idled it up a bit, let it sit in the driveway and things sounded good. So i decided to take it down the block only to have it miss, die and not start. So i'm starting to think its more of the security light instead of a fuel problem. Hope you guys have some ideas what it could be. Got any questions feel free to ask. Thanks guys!
