Car Wax

I don't know if this is the right place to put it in but to me it seems like the best. My dad got some car wax and the brand is Carnu-B and I wanted to know if it was any good. I'll post a picture of the bottle later so you guys can see what it looks like. If it is any good and some of you guys have used it before what's the best way to use it. I'm new to the whole detailing game and any info would be greatly appreciated. I don't know if this would come on before or after the clay bar so like i said any info or tips are very welcome.

Never heard of it. I use mostly meguiars products. I am sure it works good though. It says its a Brazilian Carnauba wax which is always good. It won't last as long as a paste wax, but should do the job of protecting your paint and making it wet looking. One thing I am wondering, is it says its "non-abrasive" yet it says its eliminated swirls and water spots. It can't if it's no abrasive. Maybe it just fills the spots in....

polishing can be done by hand. I use a porter cable 7424XP because its less work on your body, and does a MUCH better job. Do some reserach on it and the pads to use if your interested

polishes i have used are Meguiars Deep Crystal, Pinnacle XMT, and Meguiars m105 and m205. The m105 and m205 are great. Theres so many polishes out there you just gotta pick one you think works best for you
 


So I tied it and it took out a lot of the dirt that was on the paint and made my car noticeably cleaner heres two pics I took to show the before and after.

And this was all done by hand next time I do it I will use an orbital buffer.

Same as Pinnacles Souveran wax. The longevity and shine trumps meguires. Try some sample kits from autogeek or wherever. If anything the Blackfire sealer for 40$? is fantastic. But only if the paint is clean (claybarred, etc, no other products underneath it.) Then stack a couple of layers of your prefered wax on top.

NXT and ultimate don't seem to last as long as they used to. Could be my memory...idk.

I still use meguires DA compounds and their quick detail. But I buy that stuff in bulk.

I get good results with the prep/ULW/M26 treatment....in my eyes.

I hope you washed your car before putting the wax on. Personally I use Adams polishes but for store bought products meguiars does a great job!
