Car turns over, but won't start without giving it some gas

the fat hose off the front of the TB turns back to the evap solenoid, fix that, it could be your problem, i used a fat 4 inch piece of line that fit the tube on the TB, then stuffed a smaller line inside the fat one, then to the stock plastic line.

Ok, I didn't inspect the whole hose, but it's the one connected right behind the iac. The part that plugs into the nipple had a tear in it.

fix that, its a rather large vac leak. tape wont hold up well, not in this cold weather. vac line is less then a dollar a foot. cheap stuff.
 
Just chiming in one more time, this could be my alternator. A few months ago I heard a loud whistle almost like a dog whistle while accelerating and I read that it could be an alternator going bad. It hasn't whined for awhile, but I'm going to get it tested tomorrow.
