car trouble Help please

My GP 3.4 was driving along fine today thin all of a sudden it strated shaking and not wanting to go anywhere. I would try to give it gas and it would start to rev up for a whole second then bog back down. Car has 136k. Any idea on what could cause this. Thanks for all your help.

Your car shakes as it's shifting into gears, or randomly? Is your ABS light on?

is it moving? if it revs like its in neutral then it is trany... but if it just bogs down its prob a clogged cat. do you have an engine code scanner? if you can make it to an Autozone they will scan it for free.

if it is not a clogged Cat, then my next idea would be fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator... but my money is on the cat.
