Car Starting issue...

I had this happen before but cant remember what the problem was...Pretty much when I start the car it wont crank, I give it gas and it starts up...then i let off the gas and it bogs right down. The TCS light comes on and on my cluster the low battery light is on...I litterally just had the battery charged a week ago...could it be bad battery/alternator? If my memory serves correct the alternator was the culprit last time

sure could be ..seem like could be something hanging up the belt also, hard to crank and no charge from alt. let us kno wat u find

so Day 2 of this...went to advance, got a new alternator and charged the battery...put back together, and now doing the same thing...I changed the Idle Air Controller yesterday and the car was driving great, but when I went to take the car out last night it just wouldnt turn over...Pretty much I turn the ignition and it chugs like normal then dies...chugs like normal then dies...I give it some gas and it starts up but if I take my foot off the gas it dies. If I leave my foot on the gas it starts up and runs...I had this happen before and cant remember what i did...any help would be MUCH appreciated!

Un-plug the MAF sensor, and see if it runs “better”. If it does run better, it is most likey the MAF went bad. Maybe

Ok...CRAZYNESS!!! So I sat there with my foot on the accelerator for like 15 seconds and blamo...car went back to working awesome. I drove it, then started it a few times and works like a charm everytime...Was it vapor locked maybe?

mine did the same thing a lil while back, i thawt it was the maf..turned out to be the idle control sensor. b4 i found out i changed the maf, the crannk sensor.....idle control got changed and it hasnt never stalled like that again. thank god! =) good luck
