Car smells like gunpowder

I'm guessing what happened was that something was plugging the right bank so the whole right bank couldn't get fuel. So when I checked pressure on the left bank it looked fine and by moving the rail around it caused whatever was plugging it to move. I can't think of anything else it could've been
