It happened twice today. Once about 1 week ago and another time a week before that. I could be pulling away from a light and it'll just cut-off or i'll be driving down the road right in the middle of traffic...same thing. I believe it's electrical because it doesn't sputter or anything close to it. It just stops. I was thinking crank sensor but i would think it would have stop working by now or happen more frequently. I replaced it about eight years ago. The symptoms are about the same but i'm thinking it's something else.

likely the crank sensor again. ever notice if the tach quits working sometimes, or if it quits and the car dies?
