• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Car shopping for my sister.

ditto, mine ran on 5 cylinders for the whole 2 years i had it. fuel pump went bad, BMC went bad, we easily spent several thousand in 2 years trying to fix the *****.

Dad has a '91 Sonoma with 210k on it, no ball joint or fan issues that I've heard of, still runs good too. Gotta love that old truck lol

I stand by the cherokee. my friend has one that's a rock crawler with 280,000 miles on it, and it runs like a champ

Seems like Jeeps in general are tough. Don't see many of the older ones but the ones you do see are rusted out like swiss cheese but still on the road 365 days a year. Ones I've seen just don't die.

Sure, one of my doors is rusted at the bottom and it's common for the floor pan to rust out, but they're mechanically sound, easy to find parts for, cheap to buy and work on. Just slap a "Jeeps are for girls" sticker on it and your sister will love it cam.

Toyota 4Runner? IDK how much they are where you live, but if you keep a keen eye out for a while (sounds like you aren't seriously pressed for time) they're great, and are easily within that price range (here at least). And hey, there's even a lot of room in the back for, em, luggage.
