Car seat noises

My car seat makes a grinding noise and I don't know if it is the motor or something else. Does anyone have or have had similar problems?
 


I wouldn't consider mine "smooth". I can feel it grinding and binding and bumping every time I run it forward and backward. I think its just poor design and quality. I've got an 08 and I have a new motor which makes me think it the tracks it runs on that is the problem.
