car revved itself and died?

This has happened before, but the engine light went away for a few weeks and didnt happen again until today, im pretty sure the engine code it had last time was system lean bank 1, which im assuming is the same one its got now, ill find out tomorrow. the fuel filter has been replaced if that even matters lol but yeah im not sure what else there is i can do right now, dont have money to take it to the shop for another week or so, any ideas?

When you say revved and died. Did it reastart, does the issue continue or happen often?

Lean bank one is often a vacuum leak. Check all the vacuum lines etc.
