• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Car really messed up at this point. Oil loss and now sounds like bearing or rod knock

Well that's awesome guys. I can get some help through here. If I do.decide to keep the car and need anything will let y'all know. For now going to add some heavy weight oil and see if that improves the knock for the time being. Itnwomt be driven at this time but may as well protect it the best I can for moving it around the driveway

Yeah there should be a ton of guys there. Houston area used to have a pretty big following.

BTW, don't expect swapping a motor to take 2-4 hours as said. I would expect it to last every bit of a day, if not more, if this is your first.

Meh, My first one took like 4 or 5 hours. Prepped the new motor the day before and wham had it in in 5 hours or so. the next took 2 hours to get out, didn't put one back in so cant speak for that. However, I suppose if you have never done something like that and don't have the majority of tools i had access too it could take all day.
