So what other cars did you all look at before buying your current cars.

Personally i was looking at Subaru Legacy spec B, GTP/GXP G6's, Audi a/s 4-6-8 serious cars, G8, Oh ya also Chargers/magnums

I almost bought a GTO for the rear drive, but the trunk was tiny and I needed a sedan. I had more fun driving it, though. Mustang was out for the same reason. The Impala SS didn't handle like the GXP, and once I heard the exhaust I had to go GXP over GTP. I looked hard at an older G or B body, but the remote start, heated seats and safety features were enough to get my wife on board too. I couldn't go to work in an import, and I figured out I wanted a V8 early in my search. If I had the cheddar, I would have bought a G8 GXP or CTS-V. I had the chance to race someone's CTS (older) and I loved it.

i was a truck guy fom 98 to 08 never owned a car and never wanted one!!! so it goes like this i was at the dealership with my buddy he was buyin a truck and was takin his sweet a$$ time goin over the details when i was approached by the saleslady and asked if i wanted to take something for a test drive...i had allready scanned the lot and noticed this GP sittin there so i said sure that 1....she grabbed the keys and as i was waiting for her i noticed the little V8 badge on the deck lid i popped the hood and to my surprise i see this all aluminum V8 i didnt think they put V8's in cars anymore!! so know i got the keys and im driving on my own about 3 blocks from the dealership, red light i shut off the traction control the light turns green and i peel off rubber to the next light,:th_laugh-pointup: SOLD!!!!!

All were pretty sweet....had to check on the insurance though. My GXP is AMAZING and blows away Mustangs easily.
