ive seen my fair share of trannys blow through the pan, usually more parts on the ground, with the famous tranny fluid puddle and trail.

no puddles, unless thats a trail, the dark trail on the road, looks like tar in a crack to me.

The answer is cradle bushing.
Both sides on the rear of the subframe, I drove past and it was pretty much touching the ground.

and btw Cam I'm 100% jelly of your hud. you have a "hud windshield" and yours looks proper. according to John K, the later production years of the 9703 cars they stopped doing the quality checks in the windshields and cars with or without huds got whatever windshield was lucky to go to that car.

Rust. From people not taking care of their car.
The subframe bolts rust through and break from the body and the subframe drops and lots of stuff can bend and break.

It more common that you think on that body style, see it alot on the older park ave's aswell.

Well a local gp guy around here he was sayin one of his friends or something the subframe fell. He asked if I had heard of it and I'm like no not really not unless maybe they didn't tighten the subframe bolts back down right or somethin.
But that's interesting. And that would be just my luck btw if I lived in a rusty area. Engine just fall out of the car bloop!
