I agree with grabbing that old GP if you can. It would be sweet.

There is a 1987 Grand Prix for sale near my girlfriends hometown for about $1500. Needs a bit of frame welding. It is 350 with auto trans.

did you cut the lenses off from the outside?

the lenses are clear and the 'lines' are glued to it. ive cut a few sets apart to clear them, the lines arent easy to remove without making a huge mess.

I just realized your tail lights are stockers minus the black lines. That is so subtly sexy.

Thanks man!!! , but if you seen these up close you can see my wonderful hack job that i did with my dremel. Did this in Feb.2012. I was washing my car and the driver side tail light had a big crack in it and the water hit it just right and ripped a chunk of the clear plastic off. I want to replace them soon with stockers ($30 junk yard specials) but for now these are work'n fine.

That's a good look'n car!!!! If I can ever afford it I want a pearl white paint job and white 5 star rims, somewhat like yours. Second choice would be all blacked out everything!!!

Did you take out the air dam underneath? It might get e little warm.....

Yes sir, sure did!! It was busted up and almost split in two pieces. You are talk'n bout the piece (black plastic) that has 5 or 6 bolts hold'n it on and is 3ft.long and around 4 1/2inches from top to bottom ? It does not run any warmer so far.

so you did cut the outsides off...you were supposed to go at it from the back of the tail light..

That's the way I thought you should do it. I'm going to try it with my flaking stockers.

Thanks a lot bro! I need to buff the paint, hasn't been buffed in 11 years, the clear is still in solid condition which I'm happy about. I took those pictures with a horrible iPhone camera :(

You betcha!!! Just a quick chop from the outside. I did not know that cutting the back of the taillight:th_shrugshoulders:was the proper way of do'n it. I thought about it but since i'm getting replacement stockers I didn't even take the taillights off the car. I probably would of got a cleaner look cutt'n from behind the taillight.
