You know whats nice about this site though. Even though you have been bickering back and forth with these people if you were to post a thread needing help with something I am 75% sure they would post in it to help you out now I could be wrong with this statement but you have to realize this site is very helpful and has helped me numerous times and these guys know there ****. That is why this site is not a waste you have to get past the fact that some people do not like your car and realize it is very out of the ordinary for a straight guy to be rocking a pink car and to be proud of it. Also, as far as Matt saying the "(s)he" he was not trying to offend you and I guess you are just to stubborn to accept that and I do not blame these guys to get irritated with your childish acts. Now don't get me wrong I am not trying to be mean but you have to drop it.

Simply put you have a pink car good for you as long as you like it who cares and who cares what people say about it. Do what you want with your car some people raise and put 24"s on it and like that look they don't get discouraged when people pick at the car because they people don't like it.

So brush it off and get over it. Also, remember these guys can and will be dicks they don't care so be a dick back if you feel its worth it but I don't think it is cause as a newb you wont have many if any people to have your back.

ive already helped him out with wheel questions. im not a prude, but it really helps for you to just let up a little. everyone is going to critique. whether they are nice about it or not depends on who is posting.
 
I completely get that Im gonna get **** bout my car, its pink and im a guy, its not exactly the "norm" in the car game. That in itself sucks tho cuz ive been customizing my vehicles for over 10 years now and have done the stuff that I wanted and do it differently. I just think having something everyone else has isnt custom. I know being a Newb on this forum doesnt help my case but im not some punk kid who doesnt know anything. In my mind its just sad that because something is different, it gets picked on so to speak.

Now for the guy who said I painted over rust and is overwhelmed. Its primer, the car was de-lamming and factory paint looked like ****. I had a week of downtime from painting so I decided to just get some tinted primer and see how I would like color. I wanted something no one else has around my area, and something that stuck out for advertising purposes. I have quite a few plans for the car and want to do some diff body mods and graphics before actually spending the time painting the car. Yes it has rust and no I havent fixed it yet, i didnt have time nor could I locate a donor car to hack the thing up. I also sat down with my wife and 3 kids with 3 different colors I wanted to do and let them help me, they all picked the pink too.

I will go ahead and say sorry for getting ****ty on here. For me it does get to me a bit for the fact that this car is something my family has helped with. My 5 year old even helped me do some sanding on the car for prep. This car and the time we have spent on it means alot and so I dont take kind to the remarks, esp when people dont know the story.
 


well if you want something that sticks out, try a black with yellow accents, or yellow and back with a hint of red, you can do things different because ive seen maybe 1 yellow gp. but pink is too over the top, and never did i think you were gay or anything, but man it raises questions. try the yellow with maybe some black or vice-versa. would stand out, and might look pretty bad. just trying to help you out. the cleaner the look of the car the more people will be drawn to it. i for one would not get my car customized by a guy with a pink primered car, but someone who has a black car with just the right hint of color in there with the kind of music you have in your trunk, i would let them do whatever they want to my car...

I understand that but in my defense i paint for a living and my work and prices speak for themselves. Im not gonna spend all the time and money for paint when im not done modding the car tho. I know ur not being a dick and neither am I, just dont see how the color of my car is gonna kill my business. In fact ive actually gotten quite a bit of work off it and have had a **** ton of people curious and look at the car, far more than when it was stock white with blemishes all over it

His car, he can do what he wants. But also 2fnlow2 like they said just be prepared to take criticism. If you can't take some criticism go smoke a lil you'll be fine! But for real. I got bashed for having 20's when I first joined and I didn't know **** about the car now i know quite a bit. Just take the criticism enjoy the site and good luck with the deuce deuces.
