can you put a 245 tire on a 225 rim??

i have $100 on the rim being 7.5" wide and being able to take a 275 tire or so. it can fit 245/45/18 just fine.

245 is the widest on stock wheels. they are only 6.5" wide.

yeah thats my goal for tomorrow, is it possible to take the clear part off and just tint the red part?

you have to break the tails to get to the insides. youll have to tint the outside of the lenses.

you can break open the back of it and take out the red reflector (you still have to break it out) and then reseal them and youll have "cleared" tails, but im not sure they look that nice on a black car when done that way.

its not bad. i did it to my set before i tinted them. i hit the screwdriver too hard once and cracked one of the lenses right in the middle. it does take a little care though.
